Sigolo Golo cave has two interests. Under the mountain you’ll see a river with the pure water and cold, the water still flowing even in dry season. To go to the river you should walk to the beneath. According to the history this cave was used to be as meditation spot by docile Maudoro father of Damar Wulan in Majapahit Empire era. Local community believe, if someone meditation with mean well would be answered, otherwise meditation with bad well would get bad luck.
How to get there?
Situated at Sranten sub-village, Panglungan village, Wonosalam sub-district. Distance from Mojoagung sub-district about 28 kilometers. The only one public transportation going to Wonosalam is with code ‘M’ in Mojoagung terminal, but before you should take a ride with code ‘D2’ from Kepuhsari terminal. For complete list of public transportation code click here. But the ride code ‘M’ not through Panglungan village, as far as Wonosalam last pit stop. Very recommended to carry personal vehicle. The route is very easy, just follow the asphalt road to Wonosalam, be careful of twisting road up and down.
